Welcome Back! π Appointments Available! π New Product Alert! Happy Spring! (Almost π) Thank you for honoring my time away from the salon. It is a much needed annual practice that allows me to reset my energy physically, mentally, and creatively to prepare for another year of service. I have shared with some of you that I intend for this to be my last year practicing as a natural hair stylist. My plan is to conclude services sometime during the late fall. I am not 100% sure what the future of the styling services will look like for Naturally You Salon. I do intend to continue sharing my love for natural hair in other ways. I will keep you posted on details as the year progresses. Moving forward, in an effort to maintain a schedule that is sustainable for me to continue practice throughout the year, salon appointments will be available during the last 2 weeks of each month on Thursdays 9am-4:30pm and Saturdays 6:15am - 3pm only. The online scheduling system is offline for now. Feel free to call or text me your desired dates based on the schedule outlined below. On Friday, March 21st I will co-host the first workshop of the year promoting health, wellness, and creativity along with my friend and client Jazz Fields who is a certified Yoga teacher. This event is for the creatives, the big dreamers, those who may feel stuck in the current direction of life.You will be guided through weaving and creating your own net as a tangible and visual representation of your dreams. I have been making small batches of rosemary oil and an all natural deodorant. These products are available for pre-order on a monthly basis. You can pre order when you book your appointment and your order will be ready for pick up at the time of your appointment. The first new product is a Rosemary oil inspired by its many benefits and my love for gardening. Rosemary thrived very well in my garden last year so I decided to give this a try. Rosemary increases blood flow to the skin and scalp, improves circulation and stimulates hair follicles thus promoting hair growth. It is also antibacterial and anti fungal making this oil a great addition to your natural hair care regimen. For me that means eliminating toxic chemicals that compromise my overall health. I also like to share the recipe because it is so easy to make yourself. Last year I held a group workshop to guide participants through the process. Several of my long time client have been using this along with myself for the past 3 years. We all agree that this 3 ingredient deodorant is hands down more effective at fighting odor and keeping sweat at bay than other more expensive store bought brands.
